My senior year of high school I did not have senior photos done by a professional photographer. My mom and best friend took photos, and while I love them and cherish them, a part of me regrets not having senior photos done.
I know a lot of seniors avoid having photos done, with a huge factor being the cost of them. I've been brainstorming for two years on how I could give seniors access to professional photos to display at their grad parties, post on social media and have printed in the yearbook. After talking with a family member who owned a photography business in the North West US, I finally landed on a style of session where parents and seniors could pay what they could afford
This family member offered pay what you can sessions over a whole weekend to families, and the number of people who showed up were so grateful to have professional images to hang in their home was astonishing. I loved the idea, so October 15, 2023 I will be hosting "Pay What You Can" mini sessions for seniors graduating in 2024. Read the Q&A below for information!
What is included in a mini-session?
Each mini-session will be approximately 15 minutes. All seniors will receive a minimum of five high resolution digital images with print release.
When and where are these mini-sessions?
These mini-sessions will be October 15, 2023, starting at 2:00 PM. Sessions are held at Brenton Arboretum.
How can I sign up?
You can click here to visit the booking calendar.
When and how will the images be delivered?
Images will be available within 4 weeks from the session online in a private, password protected gallery.
What's the catch?
There's no catch! Pay what you can, whether that's the regular price of mini session or $20. You won't be treated any differently. All "pay what you can" session clients will be treated the same as any other client and you will not be labeled as a pay what you can client.
